I was doing photos for This is Not London at Matter a couple of weekends ago, I lost my camera just previous so borrowed my flat mates which was a total nightmare, I've been using the same camera and 24mm lense for about 2 years haha. Anyway, here are a few of the photos.

All Caps lookbook 2008: Indian Summer

One of the most original and interesting indie-brand lookbooks I have seen in a while, and I really like the alcohol bottle themed designs.

Tears of the Crocodile

Last night, I was walking through Born (BCN equivalent to Brick Lane in a sense) and I stumbled up on an exhibition opening party at Iguapop gallery. The work was by Hollywood´s Elizabeth McGrath, who was there herself dressed immaculately in an Alice in Wonderland slash burlesque outfit, which itself complemented the surreal and fantasy-like theme of the work on display.

Despite having to endure the most pretentious art crowd I have yet to encounter, I was glad to have come accross the exhibition, and McGrath´s work (as well as the free beverages that were on offer). It made me think Dita Von Teese x Lewis Carroll´s trips x Russian fairytales.

Some of McGrath´s work from Tears of the Crocodile will also be on display in October at the London art fair SCOPE.

The Village Pet Store

As some of you may know Banksy has a new exhibition in New York at the moment called 'The Village Pet store and Charcoal Grill', featuring all sorts of animatronics and stuff. A change from all the stencils I guess. I found this on the net which he did whilst over there. A bit of site specific art, its nothing ground breaking and maybe you've seen it before but ah well.

Cycle Show '08

Got an invite to the Earls court cycle show yesterday from my man Max to have a look at some of the new gear available in this glorious year.

Started off with the Cinelli x RVCA collab and despite it being all over every track blog/site, seeing it in the steel was something else.

The Charge stand was also SERIOUS (as a stand-cos the bikes were all pretty dim reincarnations of the plug) There was a Superted prototype hanging around as well as that beastly gold "limited edition" plug.

After meeting up with Ted and noncing on a couple of women we decided to head over to the wattrace which Max won. Having said that he was on 6 different types of steroid.....

We headed over to subway for a couple of BMT's and the kids started fighting like girls over cups or ice or something. I told them if they didnt stop I was going to send the pictures to Vice.

If you want to go today, my pass is still valid and Im doing homework....

Do not take if preggerz

Last night it was all about an early start and free booze on Neal Street. Diesel were having a sweet free booze party with bands and even a smoke machine in store, but Urban Outfitters kind of won in a weird way cos they had shitty wine, snacks and free Koru Energy Strips. Koru energy strips are those mint strips that they brought out to replace chewing gum but no body payed any attention to, in different packaging. Plus Caffine. They're like doing an LSD tab of Red Bull. I'm feeling it.

Furniture yeah?

I got a weekend job in this shop called One Deko, it sells all sorts of furniture and stuff, like this coffee table which you can snap up for a bargain £2,500. It's also pretty good for birthday cards that they don't sell in Clintons, and "quirky" presents for your family, like a pretend bible that actually has a hip flask inside it.

It's at Spitalfields Market, opposite that All Saints and just along from that print shop that sells those shit Banksy prints for loads of money that morons and "culture-jammers" buy, so come say hello!

The Free Art Fair

The Free Art Fair runs from next Monday till next Sunday and should be pretty fucking sweet. The whole idea is that while everyone else is gawping at Frieze and spending a shit load of cash, similarly HUGE artists exhibit for a week for free and at the end everything is given away. So you could have on your wall something you saw at White Cube a few weeks ago, which is a nice idea I recon. You can find out more HERE.

In other news that Count and Sinden rave I posted about ages ago has been cancelled, the official reason being that the licence wasn't granted. But you'll all be coming to Macbeth to see me DJ anyway, right?!
