Good Aids Bad Aids tour 2005

In April 2005 I went on tour with my band at the time, Raise the White Flag. We legged it round the country for a couple of weeks with our mates Hatemail. It was called the Good Aids Bad Aids tour and these are some of the photos I took.

Flickery Vision

Last night went down to Corsica to check out Trouble Vision round II with Cath, it was pretty good, Noze played a-lets get drunk and naked set, which was surprisingly good and the silent disco was lets just say...silent.
In other music news; Hannah Holland played a smashing set and despite Detboi's extensive catalogue of productions his stop starts didn't quite tickle my pickle.
Tonight DR Soundsystem will be playing at 333 and then probably pop down to Work it.

So i remembered i had a flikr account years ago and found some photos that i thought i'd lost the scans of. These are photos from a project i did for uni, i stayed in Brighton 6 nights a week for a couple of months at my main man Leigh Tannen's house, eventually I will get the rest of the negs scanned and get some more up here.

Visions in Blue

I've been lucky enough to see some of my all time favourite bands, but I never thought I'd get the chance to see Ultravox cos they split up so long ago and Midge Ure has been pissing around for ages. But they are ACTUALLY touring again next year. Which is way more exciting for me than you can imagine. Ultravox were pioneers of Electronica and Electro-pop, especially their early material when John Foxx was on vocals, even the art work and styling of the band has huge influence to this day.

This video is for their track "Visions in Blue", it's a bit epic, so if you can't be bothered with the atmos-building intro skip to 2 minutes in, but if you do that you'll miss the bird-bathing-bird lesbo action.

Basically Ultravox are the bollocks and they have amazing videos and songs like this, so check it out.

Last Night

Started off well; I had twin eggs for breakfast.


Then popped off to blackheath which was mad busy and the back down to the Amersham. Despite the torrential rain and cold people stuck it out.


Skream banged tune after tune before he hopped off to DMZ.


Plastician definintely didn't dissapoint either. However some absolute unabummer broke his wingmirror. This is him before he found out.

In 1969, a 14 year old Beatnik named Jerry Levitan snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced John to an interview about peace. Last year director Josh Raskin met with Jerry and illustrators James Braithwaite and Alex Kurina, and produced this, which was nominated for an Oscar. Thanks to Joe for the heads up.

I know what you did last halloween

Went down to 333 last night to play a lil set for SC&P and ended up swiping my cousins camera to take these. Gladly there was a lot of fire around and good vibes all night.Ended up grabbing a kebab from that place on the corner of shoreditch high st, it was pretty good; only I still have the taste in my mouth.
