The boys are back in town

So Deadly Rhythm have moved out of Plan B until August when there will be a MASSIVE relaunch, but until then they will be in East London's nicest venue; the Legion on Old St. There are more garms from MISHKA to be had and a huge Funktion 1 rig in place so come down and vibe.

The Bloody Apprentice

Has been giving me enough jokes over the last couple of weeks despite there being 1 hot and 2 half ok looking girls and no dashing young men (like in the last series-Prince Raif) Sir Alan has been true to form with his insults; notably the "I was in the Jewish lads brigade, Stanford Hill division, trainee buguler, doesnt mean I sold bloody computers does it?!". Anyway today I came across this brilliant edit by Cassetteboy who some of you might be familiar with. watch. now.

Mes Que Un Club...

The Gooners came out in full force to see Man United's fall from grace, but then again I was in a North London pub! Hold tight all the Man United supporters - don't be greedy, you won the Carling Cup, didn't you?

Good vibes from the start.

1-0...he disappeared after that!

Sunderland in the motherfuckin' house! Wrong team and wrong sport mate!

2-0... Ice cold baby :)

'Nuff said really xx

Heart of Tarckness

No great material as I was being a numpty and left my ISO on 1600 despite it being Africa bright out. I've decided to get propa buff over summer and win some gnarly prizes in sept.

Tomorrow Millwall play scunthorpe (who I thought were called scumthorpe-which made me lol, but thinking about it having 'cunt' in your town name is actually worse) who will probably get mangled. And in a couple of weeks the London Uke Festival is on. So I thought it was about time to drop this on yall cos it is hot; a youtube favourite to be. I dont actually do football, or usually write anything longer than 3 lines but, I think my game has been slipping recently and as I have a little time on my hands thought I would 'get up'. I probably won't watch the game but will be greeted with we are millwall, we are..... on facebook as soon as I get in from the edge of tarckness. More after the jump liek and pictures to follow tomorrow.

24 hours

I've been addicted to the Guardian's 24 hours in pictures section for the last few years. it's awesome. check it almost every day HERE.

Crystal Fighters

Denim campaigns at the moment

Whatever you may have to say about G-Star as a brand, you can't argue that they know how to pick eye candy for a campaign.

As for the 501 ad series...

next Friday

A Sunday In East

"StreetFest is a new breed of festival where the onus is on promoting and merging creative talents. StreetFest is taking it back to the ‘old skool’, by blending the spirit and soul of those nostalgic rocking block parties, with creative flair and modern trends."

An amalgamation of all things that make up urban culture. For a mere fiver you are getting ten hours of live music, art battles, film screenings and fashion shows as well as insight into the world of skateboarding and biking.

And if that hasn't worn you out...

I just planned your entire Sunday for you. See you there, you can thank me then!

dead birds

are not a very nice thing. i keep on seeing them.

ewww. rank. if you have wings use them.

today I saw one get hit by a train. not the nicest thing when you havent slept and have had to get a coach for 4 hours - Toddla T album launch in Sheff last night (via the market bar in nottingham), got stranded and home was definitely the best shout. DIFFERENT crowd last night.

:( got a few handfuls of film to process and no ££. til then here's something a bit nicer to look at. needs to be seen large.

Deadly Rhythm X Mike Jones II

The Deadly Rhythm logo has finally been completed by MISHKA's finest Mr Mike Jones, expect stickers, tees and maybe even hoodies and new era's. You will be the first to know.

A couple of weeks ago I was asked to take some pictures of Kap Bambino during their video shoot for their new single dead lazers. Based on the warriors with gangs of yuths running around the east end and directed by James Lees of Warp Films, it was bound to be a good 'un. It can be seen here

There will be more of my pictures appearing in the NME this week so will link up again soon.

Summertime Clothes

The new Animal Collective single is amazing, the best track from the new album. So gloriously weird. They're headlining the park stage at Glastonbury if you're lucky enough to be going, and playing Brixton Academy on 20th August.

Midweek escapades

Crystal Fighters

Crystal Fighters are playing at the Old Blue Last this Saturday night to celebrate the release of their first single Xtatic Truth and that they've just been signed to ultra-amazing-paris-label Kitsune. It's Free and it's put on by Dollop and Magistrates are going to DJ so basically it's going to be awesome.

Wendy Wonders

I interviewed Eugene McGuinness last week and he was awesome. This is his new music video that a couple of friends made. His album is out on Domino, go get it.

La Nouvelle Fille

Easy. I'm Naddy and it's nice to meet you. And when I grow up I want to make films.

Really pleased to be on board, especially now. Something special is going down in London town and if I can capture it and share it with you guys, perhaps I'll feel less shiftless and idle. Anyway, my pet hate is posts lacking some sort of visual offering. I'm the first to admit that I'm no Schnickens, but I'm never far from a camera. So although completely unrelated to this introduction, here are my May Day snaps... enjoy my shit!
