latest love

Rollei 35 - German Edition with a 40mm lens.

Didn't have the best day ever so i thought I'd try and do something productive so I went to find this :)

Had to traipse to Brentford (..??) and walked for so long through some industrial estate that it felt like the bones in the balls of my feet were being crushed cz i wasnt wearing sensible shoesies.

Got it and a whole load of old film and little leather cases for the camera and the flashes that slip onto the hot shoe which is on the bottom (???) cz the camera is so small. This means that I'll have to shoot upside down.

Can't focus it through the rangefinder either, so it's gonna be a guessing game. Film wasting? I've got 110 to get through so I'm ready.

besos.

You can focus through the viewfinder, is there a sort of light box grid sorta thing when you look through? it might seem like you cant focus through the viewfinder because you're not looking through the lens, thats the point of rangefinder cameras. the lens is right next to the shutter so theres no mirror involved for you to look directly through the lens like on SLRs..

*viewfinder - not rangefinder. sorry, wrote the wrong thing.

you can buy an auxiliary rangefinder that goes on the hot shoe for focusing.
